Submit your channel and have access to the many advantages here on the Artcast Network: Make your show easier to find for fans, help viewers and other artcasters keep track of your schedule, and be eligible to have your show, artwork, or videos be featured here on the site.
What is the Artcast Network?
This site is a free community for artcasters and artcast fans. It is meant to help you find new shows, keep track of schedules, get tech help, and promote your upcoming events. It is independently run by me, Dani Jones.
I created the site for fun and hope you have fun visiting it. There are no fees or obligations involved. Whether you broadcast regularly or once in awhile, you’re welcome to use the site to promote your show. All artists are welcome to be listed here.
Please fill out the following form as completely as you can and I will post it with my next update.
Requirements:
-
Your show must be a LIVE streaming broadcast. I am currently not listing pre-recorded podcasts or vidcasts. While you are welcome to keep recorded archives or distribute a related podcast in conjunction with your show, you must have some kind of live, real-time element in order to be listed here.
-
You must be some kind of visual artist and your webcast must concentrate mostly on your artwork or be of interest to other artists in some way (e.g. artist interviews, tutorials, etc.).
-
Your webcast must not contain anything overly offensive or crude. The site reserves the right to remove any listing for any reason.
-
That’s it. Have fun!

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to have a regular schedule?
No. While in my opinion, it is a good idea to have one, it is by no means a requirement. I would still like to help publicize your show! You can add events on an individual basis on the Calendar page.
Is there a selection process?
No. All artists who submit a channel will be listed on the site.
Does my channel have to be on Ustream?
No, any kind of live, real-time streaming service is fine. Ustream is just the site that I happen to use. The only requirement for your show is that you are some kind of visual artist, and your show is dedicated to art.
I don’t have a Ustream show, but this sounds cool.
Awesome, thanks. There is no better time to get started with your own show. I’ve already written a beginner’s guide to Ustream here if you would like to look into it. I can use as many artists as I can.
Thanks for your help!
