I try to catch Jon’s show as much as possible. Every time I watch, I get inspired to break out my pencil and paper and start sketching. Seriously, the dude’s show is inspirational.

…but not in the creepy televangelist way. In the awesome art way.

I’m not an artist, but I’ve known Jon for a few years. As an artist, Jon is an undiscovered treasure. He’s an extremely talented and imaginative comic style artist. He’s exceptionally gifted at drawing the ‘ladies’, but he can draw just about any character you want, with amazing skill and creativity. He takes commissions, and can do sketchcard commissions “live” right on camera as you watch. And if you have questions about how he does something, he doesn’t hesitate to answer. He teaches, as he draws. His chatroom is lively and fun, with many regular “followers”. Don’t waste your time watching that unrealistic “Reality TV”… Jon’s artcast is as real as it gets. Tuesdays at 8PM CST.
